Destination Wedding in Cadiz: Selina & Nicolas at Finca Monasterio

Destination Wedding in Cadiz: Selina & Nicolas at Finca Monasterio. Not every wedding is just a wedding.

Some… feel like a journey.

Others… feel like a memory.

And a few… feel like a destination.

Selina and Nicolas’ destination wedding in Cádiz, at Finca Monasterio, was exactly that: a meeting point between Germany and Spain, between past and future, between roots… and legacy.

When a couple decides to get married far from home, in another country, in another language, with another kind of light… something special happens. You breathe differently. Everything shines in a different way.

This destination wedding in Cádiz was that kind of story.

Finca Monasterio: a world of its own

Nicolas has Spanish roots. The kind you don't always see, but you feel. The kind that call you back, even if you live thousands of kilometers away. Selina knew that. And maybe that’s why, when they imagined their wedding, they thought of Cádiz, of the south, of that magical Andalusian light.

From the very first day, our conversations were half English, half Spanish… and half laughter. Yes, three halves. That’s how international weddings work: a beautiful mix where no one translates, but everyone understands.

They didn’t need a big decoration setup, Finca Monasterio is already special on its own.

Everything there invites you to breathe and let the story unfold naturally. Family, friends who flew from far away, and two people saying “yes” with their whole hearts. Long looks. Shaky hands. The kind of emotion that needs no translation.

The beautiful thing about a destination wedding is that no one comes out of obligation. Everyone comes because they want to. Because love is worth the trip. And you can feel that in every hug, every toast, every laugh.

Cádiz as a destination and as a memory

A German couple choosing Cádiz to get married already says a lot about this place, its light, its peace, the way it makes people feel. It’s a destination that transforms. That connects. And that always leaves a mark.

Selina and Nicolas went home with more than photos. They took a piece of history with them, of their roots, their love, and this southern land that welcomes everyone who arrives.

Thank you for letting us be there. For trusting us. For speaking two languages at once and still making everything flow. For allowing us to photograph a day that will stay forever.

Some weddings feel like a journey, a memory, and a destination.

And this one… was all three at the same time.
